About Us

Our Story

Vizen Ventures was formed to acquire managed service providers and systems integrators and build them into an AI-native platform. It is the acquisition affiliate of Kadre Labs, and it exists because of what we saw there.

Running AI inside lower-middle-market companies, we kept meeting the same fact. The businesses best placed to deliver AI to small and mid-sized clients are the managed service providers that already run their technology, and almost none of them can build it. The demand sits on their side of the table. The capability sits on ours.

Vizen Ventures brings the two together, one acquisition at a time. We are an independent sponsor, not a fund: we source and lead each transaction ourselves, and raise the equity for it from capital partners who know the sector and want an operator on the other side of the table.

How we work with capital partners

  • Deal by deal. We bring each opportunity with the diligence done, the structure set and the operating plan written.
  • We lead. Sourcing, diligence, negotiation and post-close operations are ours to run, through Kadre Labs' operating team.
  • We invest alongside. Our own capital goes into every transaction.
  • Conventional terms. Closing fee, ongoing management fee and a carried interest that vests on performance. We put the terms in writing early.
  • Sector depth. We work only in managed services and IT services, where we already operate.
